Summers 2012 – 2014

During three summers I worked as a landscaper for a Helsinki region based company. We designed and constructed challenging gardens and public areas. I was part of forming many gardens, with hedge cutters, excavator and dirty gloves. We used rock a lot, building retaining walls, staircases and plant beds. I worked solo, with a companion and in teams at different sites, sometimes even in the archipelago. I

coordinated with customers, collaborated with other companies and builders, acquired materials, dug up areas, constructed foundations, planted beds, and built decks. I took on managing responsibility

for a couple of sites, and led a team.
