Throughout 2022
The school board invited me to participate in planning the future of the property, and improve upon the landscape design to solve some crucial issues they are currently experiencing. This plan is available here.
Additionally I continued updating the playground features, such as the outdoor kitchen and firepit. As well as adding new features, like basketball hoop and four square, all visible in the pictures gallery below.

In the beginning I had the honor of collaborating with Torsten Grid, who had been working at Mora Park for over a decade. Together we refurbished an old wooden boat, which we found in the neighbourhood, and placed it in a pit of sand in the schools playground. This new feature led to an overall renovation of this part of the playgrounds. A new lawn, chestnut fence, and willow hedgerow were also added in encircling layers. Additionally a retaining wall of natural stones was placed at the corner closest to the new school building. It doubles as a stairway up to the playground gate. In it also hides drainpipes, as the soil here consists of heavy clay.

MORA PARKS FASTIGHETER
Vi träffade Peter när han tog över utvecklingsprojektet av Mora Parks lekområde.
Vi, Stiftelsen Moraparks Fastigheter, har som ändamål att förvalta den mark och de byggnader som utgör Mora Park. Vi förstod att Peter hade flera strängar på sin lyra, inte bara det praktiska utförandet utan också utredning och planering. Vi såg i Peter en som kunde skapa en överblick över området.
Utifrån vårt önskemål har Peter, noggrant och estetiskt, gjort en landskapsanalys utifrån topografi, placering i förhållandet till samhället och till Mora Parks verksamhet. Som så ofta idag så är det fråga om kommunikation, var går vi, var kör vi. Där kom Peter med hjälp av modern teknik (drönarfoto) fram till spännande förslag till lösningar. Att vi sedan också fick en liten inblick i hur man kan tänka och planera för en framtid med ett förändrat klimat var en tankeställare.
Peter:

- Levererar på överenskommen tid.
- Presenterar på ett utmärkt sätt både muntligt, digitalt och analogt.
- Håller ekonomiska ramar och redovisade projektet tydligt
